Summary
I have had my ESP 5 for months now and the only problem I had was a defective printhead after 300 plus pictures and Kodak sent me one free of charge in 2 days no questions asked. It prints great pictures all the way up to 81/2 x 11. The scans look great and photo/document copys look great. The AIO Homecenter software loaded with no problems and runs with-out a hitch. It is a touch noisy when it first starts up(but quiets down when printing starts) but so are most other inkjet printers I have used. I have read other reviews about bad print quality and paper jams but have yet to experience these issues. My guess is the other users are not using Kodak paper (which the printer was designed for). If you load the paper like the instructions say I do not for see paper jams. Stick with Kodak paper and ink with these All In Ones and believe prints will continue to look great.
Strengths
Great prints up to 8 1/2 x 11
Easy set-up
Great photo editing
Cheap ink
Scans good
Weaknesses
A bit loud on start up
Pictures use up ink faster (but so do most other printers)
Similar Products Used
Hp inkjet printer (ink was $60+ (OUCH!) And this thing was LOUD!
Customer Service
Did printhead replacement via emails....ordered printhead on Saturday and recieved
it Tuesday at no charge. Although I heard Customer service VIA telephone can be challenging. I have not experienced this yet.
