Summary
The camera's size had the greatest appeal in that it can be held when running on a trail, when going out with friends, or even video taping concerts. Canon's overall lens quality is also great. The menu is really easy to read and great for beginning photographers. The quality of the pictures in low light settings come out really well and pays attention to a lot of detail. The A/V adapter to the television comes out really well. Start up time is negligible and is convenient for taking pictures that need to be taken right away.
Strengths
Portability, color sensitivity, size of screen, picture quality, the Touch Dial feature
Weaknesses
Lack of image stabilization, pictures aren't taken fast enough (there is a little lag after you press the button), that the battery life isn't displayed until after it is going to die within a couple of minutes, sometime the picture playbacks lag, sound during playback
