I just bought a brand new Panasonic MiniDV PV-DV203. To my dismay and frustration when I tired to use it, I got a "DEW Detected" message and cannot be used. To think I ordered this on line.

Summary
I purchased a brand new panasonic PV-DV203 and even purchase the 4 year warranty. Words cannot express how angry I was when I got home and was unable to use it because of the "dew detected" message. NOT EVEN ONCE. I decided to look it up on the web and was shock beyond belief to learn that this is a common problem. Here I am at 1:00AM and can't wait to take the "JUNK" back to the store tomorrow and DEMAND A FULL REFUND.

It has NEVER, EVER work, so there is absolutely NO STRENGTHS.

Weaknesses
It has not work from the day I purchased it.

Summary
Panasonic has put a defective sensor in the camera, which is evident my the number of posts for dew warning. My next step is to the attorney general. If they can recall millions of tires. They can recall millions of junk Palmcorders. We need to band together and contact the Better Business Bureau in this matter.

Summary
this camera would work great if they did not put in the "dew detected" warning system. It completely shut downs the camera. You are unable to use it. Would NEVER buy this camera again!!Lasted 1 yr. before i started having problems. Have not been able to use the camera since. DO NOT BUY. too much money to spend on a camera that will only last a year.

Weaknesses
DEW DETECTED sensor does not work....will not allow u to use camera when it is malfunctioning, which is ALL th time.

Customer Service
wrote panasonic...they told me to get it repaired even after i told them about the hundreds of complaints i have seen about the dew detected sensor. THey do not care!!
